Delicious smoked jalapeno poppers made with large jalapeños, bacon, whipped cream cheese, and cheddar cheese. Perfectly seasoned with Cajun or BBQ seasoning and optional brown sugar for a sweet touch. Ideal for smoking at 275° for an hour, these poppers are a great appetizer or snack for gatherings.

jalapeno

bacon

whipped cream

4 oz whipped cream

shredded cheddar

½ cup shredded cheddar

cajun seasoning

1 cajun seasoning

brown sugar

chili powder

salt

pepper

ranch dressing

1 ranch dressing

Instructions

1: Prepare Jalapeños by cutting lengthwise, leaving half the stem on each half and removing seeds/membranes.

2: In a small bowl combine cream cheese, cheddar cheese & seasoning of choice.

3: Stuff each jalapeno half with the cream cheese mixture.

4: Wrap each jalapeno half with a slice of bacon.

5: Season the top of the jalapeño poppers with brown sugar, chili powder, salt & pepper.

6: Place on smoker while preheating to 275°.

7: After 1 hr (or until bacon is caramelized), remove from smoker.

8: Let jalapeño poppers sit for 10 minutes & serve.
