This easy and delicious spatchcock chicken is coated in butter and a mix of spices, guaranteed to impress everyone! The juicy and flavorful dish combines Lawry’s seasoning salt, rosemary, turmeric, and paprika for an unbeatable flavor experience.
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Spatchcock your chicken by placing it breast side down on a cutting board and using kitchen shears to cut along both sides of the spine and remove it.
Flip the chicken over and press down on the breastbone to flatten it.
In a bowl, combine melted butter, Lawry’s seasoning salt, rosemary, turmeric, cayenne, and paprika. Mix well.
Brush the mixture generously all over the chicken, making sure to coat evenly.
Place the chicken on a roasting pan, skin side up.
Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the thigh meat reaches 175°F and breast meat reaches 165°F.
If any of the chicken skin starts to brown too much, put a piece of foil on top until it finishes cooking.
Once the chicken is done, remove it from the oven and cover it with foil. Let it rest for 10 minutes to allow the juices to redistribute.
